Message From the Author
Thank you for visiting my site. I am so grateful for the love and support. Sometimes I sit amazed, laughing at the girl I used to be, and overjoyed with the woman I have become... for those of you who know me from the past, you know that I am no different from any other girl who once had a dream. Nevertheless, I learned quickly, that my birth situation did not determine my destination. And that all my dreams could become reality, if I didn't give in to those who didn't believe in me. It is my mission to make sure that as many students as I can reach understand this very thought. Through both my writings and speaking, I seek to motivate. My novels are more than entertainment, they are education and empowerment... I will leave you with the prophetic words of Marianne Williams(often contributed to Nelson Mandela), from her poem Our Deepest Fear:
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us. We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
Enjoy your visit! Don't forget to check out my blog!
Peace and many Blessings,
Celia
